Executive Assistant
Dereka Young is an experienced Executive Assistant and strategic project manager. She provides organizational and administrative support to Ian Simmons and is a member of the Blue Haven Civics team.
Dereka has experience across multiple industries and has previously worked in consulting, biotech, life science, and private equity. In addition to her roles as an executive assistant, Dereka has held roles as marketing and project coordinator, regional operations manager, and office manager. She has experience working with all levels of an organization including C-suite, board of directors, marketing and business development, and sales.
Dereka holds a BA in Communications and is based in Massachusetts.
